Do you work from a set menu or package or can we request a menu tailored to our preferences?
We pride ourselves in customizing our menus to fit your style and budget. All of our clients have certain needs. The ultimate goal is to create fine cuisine for you and your guests to rave about. Once we discuss your vision, we will create a custom menu based on your tastes.

What kind of health permit and liability insurance do you carry?
We carry an insurance policy to protect you and your guests at every venue. Our 30 years of experience showcases our reputation with the city and we abide by all health requirements.

Are you licensed to serve liquor?
We do indeed carry a liquor permit. During our initial conversation we will explore the different options for serving alcohol at your event, keeping in mind safety and budgets.

What other items or services do you provide? Table linens, chairs, china, glassware, etc.
We are a full service catering company with nearly 30 years of experience. From the beginning until the end we will make sure we have everything you need in order to have the perfect event. Our design team will help you select the best china, glassware, linens, and rental items for your event. No detail will be left unturned.

Is the cost of the service staff included in the price? What is the labor cost for off site catering?
Your guest count and the location of your event will determine the number of servers, captains and bartenders to deliver impeccable service for your event. There is a staffing charge and tax. Gratuities are optional but always appreciated. No worries! It is all broken down for you in our estimate.

How many servers will be needed and what is the charge per hour? Are there overtime charges? When do overtime charges kick in?
We do not charge overtime due to our years of experience in the business. your event coordinator will make sure you have the appropriate number of staff members and they will arrive in plenty of time to set up and tear down, so you don’t have to worry about the details.

How will the servers be attired?
Our servers are all professionally dressed in black pants, black shirts, black ties and black shoes.

Are all charges clearly stated in the contract? Does this include types of foods, amounts, number of guests, complete menu listing, per person charge, liquor charges, setup charges and equipment charges?
Yes, everything is included in your custom estimate.

Do you require a guaranteed number of guests? When is that due?
10 business days prior to the event you will be required to give us your final guest count. Once your order is placed with our culinary team, you are allowed to increase, but not decrease the numbers.

When is the deposit due to hold the date? When is the balance due?
After selecting MBP as your caterer a contract will be issued requesting a 35% deposit. Your contract will detail the terms. MBP requires payment in full of the projected final total 10 business days prior to your event.

Have you ever catered an event before at the site we’ve chosen?

Do you prepare the food on the premises or off premises?
We are very familiar with the venue’s facilities and come prepared. We are also prepared for the unexpected. All prep cooking is done at our facility and then transported to your venue at the last minute. Final touches, plating and garnishing are done on-site.
